Glass City Recycling is committed to a sustainable community and believes in putting the right waste in the right place.
By sorting your plastics, glass, aluminum and paper, you can help reduce the amount of waste that fills local landfills. Landfills consist of a large percentage of plastic; plastics even contribute to "giant garbage patches" in our oceans. All this is unsettling to think about considering plastic is highly recyclable and reusable. Together, we can reduce the impact of waste on our community and our overall footprint on our planet.
Glass City Recycling will pick up your recyclables from your home on a weekly schedule and deliver them to the Litter Prevention and Recycling center. All proceeds collected from recyclables will be donated to the Community Action Program, furthering the benefit to our community.
Glass City Recycling offers pick-up services for plastics (type 1 and 2 only), paper (no wax paper), aluminum and glass.
There are two types of payment plans for single family homes:
Month to Month: $20 per month for 4 pick-ups.
Six Month Continuous: $110 for 24 pick-ups.
